In February of 2001 in a cat exhibition in Spain we came to know
the Bengal race for which we were enamoured and with the will to
acquire a small "leopard". Thus being, we started since then
searching and contacting with several breeders. Finally, in
December of 2001, we got our first male cat of this race "Indiana
Jones de Ramazan" and passed 2 months our 1º female "Jitterbug de
Ramazan", this way having the privilege and the honour to have
introduced this race in Portugal.
During these years we have acquired new cats (proceeding from
U.S.A.), with the intention to improve either the quality of
drawing, or its temperament. We are detainers of black cats tabby
spotted, also of Marbel, either the black colour tabby blotched or
the black tabby Bloched Colourpoint (Deep White with blue eyes).
Our cats are posterior to the 5º generation and are registered in
the CPF - member of the FIFE.
Our Bengals are breed in a familiar environment and have the
objective to preserve its beauty and looks of its wild relatives.
The cats of this race are very tender, intelligent, active and they
get along very well with dogs, and adore children. They are truly
affectionate with its owners.
The males ripen about 10 months,
there for earlier
than the females. They are of an average size to a great size,
powerful and very brawny. They have a spectacular fur that normally
shines as gold. They have a short hair, thick, dense and soft to the
touch. Our cats do not live in cages, they run and play freely
inside the house, with our children. They are a part of our
family. They are negative FEL and FILV. The kittens leave our
house after 12 weeks, dewormed, with 1ª vaccine and its
reinforcement.
